Native Floridian through college and formative career years until a job opportunity to become a first time "Angeleno" was granted from 2010-2012, a chapter from which another career conversion was born: a bustling "Big Apple" hospitality and real estate career chapter from 2012-2018. A return to Los Angeles in the summer of 2018 provided inspiration and motivation for the transformation from emerging to award winning screenwriter & creative to commence. This evolution continues to grow through practice and concept development.

Humble origins of inspired poetry scribbled in journals eventually took root in two online self-published works (In Search of Live & Love, Rhyme & Reason), then later manifested as a small collective of philosophical blog posts on WordPress until I was finally inspired to write my first screenplay on a rainy day in New York in 2013 (Patient 19) which would later be selected as a Finalist in the LA Live Film Festival in 2019.

Thereafter,  inspiration for several stories made their way from dreams to screen as I submitted my second screenplay, a short (SMOLDER) in 2020, which also earned merit in the finalist category at the LA Live 2020 Film Festival.

Most recently, The Prince of Moravia short screenplay was awarded the Bradbury Award for Best Short Screenplay by the 2021 LA Live Film Festival and the trailer I compiled for it was also awarded and also became a Grand Jury Prize Best Trailer winner at the September Imagine Rain Independent Film Festival.

Then came the inspiration for the SMOLDER sequel, "Detective Smolder," and its trailer, which was designated Winner in the Best Trailer category of Imagine Rain Independent Film Awards. It was also awarded Finalist by the LA Live Film Fest and Quarter Finalist by the Reno Tahoe Screenplay Contest in 2021.

On the heels of the New York chapter of my life, the inspiration for the compilation of the concept trailer for Nights in Greenwich (my original screenplay) was born and received multiple festival awards in 2021.

Since then, the visions of more scenes and dialogue and amalgamated concepts compelled me to create and develop works along other themes: The Unforgettable Mr. Brown, Where the Wild Things Grow, Red Sky & Tea, The Aran Sweater and The Lake House Writer.

Whether they reach the masses in books and on the big screen (or remain a quiet company of thoughts), I cherish the journey of creating them.
